Support for Human Rights House Belgrade

This project aims to support the Human Rights House (HRH) Belgrade and a Network of 25 civil society organizations (CSOs) in Serbia, united under the Platform, to fulfill human rights obligations and enhance the protection of human rights. By bolstering civil society participation in policy-making initiatives, the project seeks to improve human rights redress mechanisms and migration-related policies.

Through this initiative, HRH Belgrade will be established as a prominent hub for CSOs across Serbia, where these organizations can identify the members and the House itself as reliable partners in human rights protection. The House will serve as a central point for organizations within and beyond the Platform, offering essential knowledge and information on priority human rights topics, including:

• Freedom of expression
• Freedom of association
• The position of Human Rights Defenders in Serbia

This project will lay strong foundations for the collaborative efforts of civil society on critical human rights issues in Serbia. By fostering a unified call to action and coordinated activities, we aim to amplify the impact on societal change and advance the realization of human rights in the country.
